Starting Pay: $18/hr
Position Summary
To create a public swimming program including lessons, supervision of all swimming pool staff , and to ensure the safety of all guests and program participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To plan, lead, evaluate, hire staff and organize schedules and programs.
To communicate in written and oral form.
To perform basic math skills including those for effective management of fiscal and time accounts.
To work with people of all ages.
To ensure that the swimming pool facility is adequately supervised.
To ensure the entire facility and equipment are clean and safe exceeding all codes and standards.
To train and supervise all aquatic staff, schedule in-service training, and maintain certification of all staff.
To schedule routine and emergency maintenance and follow-up on all recorded maintenance times recorded in the facility log book.
To evaluate all staff and programs both verbally and in written format and make future recommendations.
To enforce all manual and written policies.
To promote all Park programs through positive public relations.
To conduct swimming lessons if needed.
To perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
